5-7 years of experience in education policy, with a demonstrated focus on charter schools, school choice, teacher policy, or education entrepreneurship. Experience tracking emerging models and successful reforms across states is strongly preferred. Strong existing relationships and demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key policymakers and coalitions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex policy ideas into compelling, accessible language. Superior research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and research. A demonstrated commitment to advancing educational equity and excellence for all students. A postgraduate degree in public policy, education, or a related field is preferred, but not required for candidates with an exceptional record of experience.
