Senior Manager/Associate Director, Merchants & Payments

7-10+ years of experience in fintech, banking, finance, payments processing, or related field. Experience managing government financial programs is a plus. Ability to execute with quality and autonomy within 1-2 months. Demonstrated experience owning positive and productive relationships with external partners/vendors. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver against deadlines. Self-starting builder, results-oriented, embraces ambiguity, thrives in fast-paced environment. Strong and concise communicator who can break down complex topics. Ability to balance attention to detail with strategic thinking. Bachelor’s degree or similar experience preferred.

Own day-to-day relationships with issuing bank and payment processor. Execute strategic financial integration projects with external partners. Manage new card program implementations including KYB, AML, payment flows, and approvals. Manage external relationships with clients and vendor partners. Handle operational functions like vendor management, fraud investigations, dispute management, and collections. Maintain internal and external process and client documentation. Build relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a liaison. Improve program efficiency and drive new solution implementation. Collaborate with Product and Engineering on roadmap items.
