Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution equipment Experience in reading single line diagrams and specifications Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear (preferred) Previous manufacturing experience (preferred) Experience with complex proposals/quotations in a manufacturing environment (preferred) Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills Experience with paralleling controls and/or PLC/HMI controls (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Prepare technical quotations for LV and MV switchgear projects. Analyze project technical requirements for accurate cost estimates. Collect and evaluate project costs (materials, components, labor). Revise proposals and update costs based on scope changes. Review proposal drawings for accuracy. Collaborate with project management, application engineering, and procurement teams. Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for RFQs. Prepare and produce proposals in response to RFQs. Obtain vendor quotations for buyout items. Summarize RFQ documents for the Sales team. Attend pre-bid meetings.
