Requirements
- Deep, hands-on, expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and its tools
- Proficiency with the wider PostgreSQL ecosystem (pgvector, repmgr, barman, etc.)
- Experience with performance tuning (server configuration, query optimization)
- Familiarity with backup solutions (pg base backup, pgBackRest, WAL-G)
- Experience with high availability solutions (replication, routers, proxies)
- Demonstrable experience administering Linux systems
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes for PostgreSQL
Responsibilities
- Assist customer DBA teams with high complexity database issues
- Gather data and provide detailed analysis of findings
- Perform screen-sharing sessions to resolve production-impacting issues
- Author blog posts for the open-source community
- Answer questions on the company forum
- Create articles for the customer-facing knowledge base
