Requirements
- University degree combined with relevant IT professional experience of 10 years
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases
- Experience working with Azure, AWS, and hybrid database environments
- Knowledge of database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization
- Hands-on experience with database monitoring tools such as SQL Sentry
- Experience troubleshooting complex database and application issues
- Understanding of High Availability (HA) and database architecture best practices
- Familiarity with AI-driven monitoring, anomaly detection, or database automation is an advantage
- Excellent command of the English language
Responsibilities
- Analyse existing MS SQL, MySQL, and hybrid (Azure/AWS/on-prem) database architectures and observability maturity levels
- Configure and manage monitoring tools such as SQL Sentry
- Evaluate database performance baselines, resource utilisation patterns, and high availability configurations
- Suggest AI-driven monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated self-healing mechanisms for database operations
- Troubleshoot complex Database infrastructure and application issues
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
