Own and maintain Medal’s general ledger in accordance with US GAAP. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Develop, document, and refine accounting policies and internal controls. Reconcile and maintain all financial accounts. Ensure accurate recognition of revenue, capitalization, accruals, and expense classification. Manage US federal and state corporate taxes, including quarterly estimates, filings, and planning. Oversee international tax compliance, including cross-border entity structures, and transfer pricing coordination. Own payroll compliance, including payroll taxes, filings, and working with PEOs/providers. Coordinate with external tax advisors and ensure timely, accurate filings. Keep up with regulatory changes. Prepare internal reporting, management dashboards, financial packages, and variance analyses. Support external reporting, investor updates, audit preparation, and due diligence requests. Lead annual financial statements preparation and coordinate external audits and reviews. Build and optimize scalable financial processes across accounting, billing, payroll, and reporting. Automate wherever possible. Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and workflows. Collaborate across teams to support growth and efficiency.
