Production Manager, Axios Live

3–5 years of experience in event production, with a focus on A/V systems, livestream, and show execution Strong understanding of broadcast and technical workflows Hands-on experience with show-calling, stage management, and backstage coordination Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously Excellent communication and time-management skills Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and solving technical issues in real time Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Airtable) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred) Willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours

Lead on-site technical execution for Axios Live events Serve as show-caller and stage manager Coordinate site-specific builds, talent rehearsals, and technical run-throughs Oversee vendor setup, show cues, asset management and technical execution Support post-event wrap processes Manage event logistics, timelines, and technical deliverables Coordinate production vendors, venue teams, and freelance technicians Track and communicate production schedules and budgets Lead on venue searches Create floor plans Book security needs Stay ahead of evolving event technology trends Recommend improvements to enhance audience experience or operational efficiency Maintain and evolve Axios Live’s production documentation and systems library
