Evening Neonatal ICU/Perinatal Nurse - (5p-12a EST)

Registered Nurse with a minimum BSN. Residing in a compact state with a current, active, unencumbered compact RN license with multi-state privileges. 4+ years of recent experience in a hospital and/or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations. Minimum 1 year of NICU experience. Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery/postpartum or Antepartum experience. Growth mindset with enthusiasm, creativity, and accountability for process change and ambiguous situations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. Internet-connected and able to work remotely via video, phone, and text. Willing to travel occasionally. Willing to work weekends and holidays. Understanding of the role of birth inequity and structural racism in maternal morbidity and mortality. Professionally engaged.

Provide patient-centered clinical care to NICU patients and families. Act as an expert clinical guide and reassuring presence during NICU stays and transition home. Leverage NICU nursing skills for virtual support to supplement in-person care. Actively teach, assess, triage, and intervene to build parent confidence and prevent complications. Coordinate holistic family support by connecting parents to specialists and resource partners. Conduct clinical and psychosocial assessments of new patients. Establish individualized care plans based on evidence-based standards. Develop wellness goals and address barriers to care. Reduce care gaps through patient engagement. Educate patients on remote health monitoring equipment. Monitor diagnostic results and respond to abnormal findings. Assess urgent concerns and triage patients to appropriate services. Document care/interactions and escalate to multidisciplinary teams. Provide user feedback to support program and product development.
