Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 6-8 years of experience in accounting for a US company
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting close
- Proven ability to connect the dots across accounts and systems
- High sense of ownership
- Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with large data sets
- Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred
- Ability to work independently under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
- Comfortable working in PST hours
Responsibilities:
- Own and perform advanced month-end close activities
- Prepare and post elimination and consolidation journal entries
- Conduct in-depth GL account analysis and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage all aspects of the close cycle for assigned entities
- Review and validate subsidiary books against US GAAP
- Support cash management activities
- Handle ad hoc requests related to financial reporting
- Support audit and management reporting requirements
- Assist with supporting income tax and business tax filings
- Partner closely with the U.S. accounting team
- Adopt an AI and automation mindset
