Requirements:
1-2+ years media experience. BS/BA degree or related degree. Attention to detail and organized. Excellent knowledge of advertising and digital media. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google office applications. Sales and data management tools such as Salesforce are desirable. Motivated self-starter and quick learner. Collaborative, responsive, and accountable. Excellent communication skills with external clients and internal stakeholders. Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Strong ability to communicate end-to-end planning process and share knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Support development of RFP process using The Athletic's ad products. Build and revise media plans, check avails, reserve placements, and negotiate terms. Manage digital process workflow from RFP to IO, liaising with approval stakeholders. Maintain documentation of IOs, T&Cs, and Campaign activities. Attend Product trainings and understand The Athletic's products. Assist with campaign kick-off management. Coordinate campaign handoff to AdOps. Field customer complaints and work with departments for resolution. Respond to servicing and information requests from team members and clients. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Communicate account information to Sales and Operations management. Provide coverage and resourcing assistance to support department needs. Surf the TA site regularly to ensure client ads are delivering as expected.
