Requirements:
2+ years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting or general management roles Expert-level financial modeling and valuation capability Deep understanding of corporate finance, strategic planning, and transaction structuring Familiarity with SaaS/technology metrics and investor reporting Comfort working in a small team/startup-like environment with high visibility Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA a plus) Proficiency in Windows operating suite Familiarity with financial systems / ERPs and other standard SaaS operating systems (Sage Intacct, Rippling, Salesforce, HubSpot) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities:
Assume end-to-end ownership of M&A strategy and execution Build relationships with company founders Create financial models and analyses for acquisitions Support identification, evaluation, and execution of enterprise-level growth initiatives Conduct market and competitive analyses Partner with business unit leaders to assess strategic fit Lead detailed financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analyses for transactions Support all phases of M&A transactions Work cross-functionally with various departments Develop complex valuation models Prepare financial forecasts, synergy estimates, and return-on-investment analyses Provide data-driven recommendations and financial insights Serve as a central resource supporting leadership in strategic growth planning Facilitate alignment between Corporate Development, Strategy, and Finance Maintain understanding of markets, technologies, and program portfolio Prepare presentations, investment memoranda, and strategic briefings for executives and the Board Communicate complex financial and market insights to executive audiences
