Requirements:
Experience in a pricing, commercial, or financial analysis role, preferably in eCommerce, printing, or related industries. Understanding of margin calculation and basic financial modelling. Familiarity with eCommerce pricing strategies and competitive analysis techniques. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets. Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Tableau, PowerBI or Python is an advantage. Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail. Commercial awareness and ability to balance competitiveness with profitability. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
Responsibilities:
Track changes to costs, markups, and rules, reporting on supplier order volume, product performance, and revenue. Manage cost and retail price updates, including validation, auditing, and rollback procedures. Maintain and evolve Mixam Market Positioning dashboard, reporting on competitor analysis and pricing insights. Conduct competitor monitoring to identify pricing gaps and opportunities. Ensure product-specific minimum margins are met. Prepare regular reports on pricing and product performance. Analyze key metrics like average order value and gross margin. Contribute to price elasticity analysis and recommend price moves. Monitor for anomalies in price curves or supplier costs and investigate root causes. Translate reporting into actionable insights and recommendations. Partner with Data teams to maintain dashboards and reporting tools. Define max discount percentages. Present insights/recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams. Define and maintain rounding and threshold rules for price curves. Own the pricing model roadmap, including proposal, testing, and performance reviews. Develop promotional strategies that protect margin while hitting volume targets.
