Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; life sciences concentration preferred Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Patient Access, Market Access, Specialty Pharmacy, Nursing, or related areas 2+ years of experience strongly preferred in Long-Term Care Strong knowledge of payer dynamics Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A and Part D access Track record of increased responsibilities Strong history of cross-functional collaboration Demonstrated success leading without authority Patient-centric and service-oriented mindset Exemplary interpersonal skills High emotional intelligence and empathy Exceptional organizational and time management skills Understanding of HIPAA rules Strong written and verbal communications as well as presentation skills Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets Adaptable and open to an environment of change Strong enthusiasm with a drive to succeed within a team Ability to travel up to 60%
Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert in preventing and addressing access and reimbursement issues Educate healthcare providers on access processes Build and maintain product access knowledge with LTC facilities Coordinate with customer support services, pharmacies, and field teams Escalate local payer issues Condense complex issues into simple solutions In-service to LTC facilities on prescription process Drive completion and submission of LTC-specific forms Maintain on-site presence in LTC facilities Coordinate with hub resources Serve as a liaison with LTC pharmacies Track, synthesize, and communicate field insights
