Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or related field). 3+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Specific experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing, particularly within CMC. Understanding and articulating complex technical concepts related to software and scientific workflows. Strong understanding of scientific principles and processes within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Solid understanding of CMC processes, regulatory requirements, and everyday challenges. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver engaging and persuasive product demonstrations. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with sales teams and other internal stakeholders. A genuine desire to understand and meet customer needs. Enthusiastic and self-motivated. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. Passion for technology and its application in the life sciences. Experience with common CMC scientific workflow tools (LIMS, ELN, MES, RIM) is a bonus. Experience in a digital strategy, technology, or software company is a bonus. Experience in a sales or customer-facing role is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the sales team. Conduct product demonstrations tailored to prospect needs. Address technical questions and concerns from prospects. Develop responses to RFPs and RFIs. Collaborate with Account Executives to design solution architectures. Maintain deep understanding of the platform's features and functionality. Develop and maintain expertise in pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing workflows, particularly CMC. Stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape. Articulate the platform's value proposition. Contribute to the development of technical sales collateral. Identify opportunities to create reusable solutions and best practices. Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams. Build relationships with prospective customers. Understand customer scientific processes, data management practices, and IT infrastructure. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Customer Success). Travel to customer sites as needed (Up to 30%). Attend industry conferences and events (20%).
