Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the brokerage industry.
- CPA designation.
- Experience with brokerage accounting systems (e.g., Broadridge, ISM, Dataphile).
- Deep understanding of Canadian financial regulations, specifically CIRO rules.
- Understanding of various financial products and instruments.
- Ability to converse fluently with stakeholders and translate requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional projects.
- Highly detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the financial requirements for the brokerage books and records system.
- Act as the financial and regulatory liaison for new product development.
- Own and prepare all regulatory reporting for CIRO and provincial securities commissions.
- Support month-end reporting processes.
