Estimator - Interior Construction

3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or interior fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and NYC building standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Plan Swift, and/or other estimating software. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Experience with AutoCAD and architectural design software (preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities (preferred). Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (preferred). Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously (preferred).

Review architectural drawings and specifications to prepare comprehensive material and labor estimates. Source and coordinate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Develop detailed cost breakdowns and client proposals. Collaborate with the design team to verify project scope and identify value engineering opportunities. Support seamless handoff to construction teams, ensuring all estimate details are clearly communicated.
