Software Engineering Team Lead

BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 3+ years hands-on object-oriented programming experience in at least one major language (Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Go, Node, etc.) 2+ years experience managing and growing engineering teams (3+ engineers) Demonstrated experience recruiting, hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing engineers Proven track record breaking down complex projects and shipping features to production on time Strong advocate for integrating AI/automation into engineering processes and products Excellent interpersonal skills and crisp written and verbal communication

Champion the integration of AI technologies and automation into every stage of our software development lifecycle (SDLC) Utilize and advance Power Digital’s nova ecosystem, embedding AI in our engineering and product processes Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative cloud-based applications Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and foster career growth Grow the product engineering team by actively participating in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and technical leaders to scope, plan, and deliver high-impact initiatives Break down complex initiatives into manageable, iterative tasks for your team Ensure consistent delivery of features and enhancements on tight timelines Lead agile ceremonies and drive the day-to-day activities of the engineering team Collaborate with other engineering managers and tech leads to continuously improve department culture and practices Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage your technical expertise to refine how we work, ship, and support our products Measure, analyze, and report on team performance, output, and impact using real data
