6+ years of professional software development experience Proven track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale Strong experience in backend/API background of either PHP, Python or Java Experience in frontend development, with a solid understanding of React and JavaScript Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL Proficient in using and designing RESTful APIs Mentorship to other engineers through coaching, design, and code reviews Exposure to AI technologies, particularly around LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, etc.), embeddings, or natural language processing Comfortable guiding technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision making A growing passion for driving processes and improving software development productivity for your team Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems Experience in Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch, Prior work in building or integrating intelligent features, such as semantic search, RAG and integration with third-party apps is a plus
