Database Engineer

Strong expertise in PostgreSQL Strong expertise in Redis Strong expertise in RabbitMQ Optionally NoSQL databases Experience with high availability, replication, clustering, and sharding Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, or other procedural languages Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for databases (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, or equivalent) Experience with automation and CI/CD for database deployment Solid understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery

Design, implement, and optimize database schemas for high-performance applications. Develop strategies for data partitioning, replication, and scaling. Evaluate and implement new database technologies for performance and reliability. Monitor database performance and implement query optimization, indexing, and caching strategies. Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans. Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for production workloads. Work closely with developers and SRE/DevOps teams to ensure database efficiency, reliability, and availability. Provide database expertise for application design and system architecture. Automate database management tasks using scripts and tools.
