Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role. Experience qualifying leads, booking meetings, and managing a sales pipeline. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect quickly and adapt your approach based on the client. Tech savvy and adaptable, comfortable learning new systems and making adjustments based on data and feedback. Experience engaging and qualifying inbound leads; outbound experience is an asset. Comfortable working in a CRM (we use HubSpot) and managing detailed follow ups. Self motivated, results driven, and able to take ownership of your performance. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance volume and quality. A strong desire to grow from a BDR into an Advisory role. A genuine growth mindset. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset but not required. Bilingual in English & French is considered a great asset, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Engage and qualify inbound leads through phone calls, emails, and text to understand their needs, determine fit, book meetings and move them toward a sale. Operate with urgency to contact new leads quickly, follow up consistently, and manage a high volume of quality outreach. Own outreach to inbound and warm outbound segments. Convert incomplete applications into active opportunities and help clients finish their purchase journey. Re-engage stalled or unresponsive leads to keep the pipeline healthy and full. Keep your CRM (HubSpot) organized and up-to-date with detailed notes. Work closely with the Advisor and Operations teams to optimize lead nurturing strategies and conversion processes. Meet or exceed monthly conversion and engagement targets. Represent PolicyMe in a professional and client-centric manner. Analyze data to identify trends and suggest improvements to outreach strategies.
