Conduct comprehensive conflicts reviews related to mergers, lateral hires, and new business intake. Analyze search results, identifying potential conflicts and escalating issues. Liaise with client conflicts teams and decision makers regarding project set up and management. Provide training on conflicts to more junior team members and supervise their work and development. Perform supplementary corporate research using tools such as Hoover’s, S&P Capital IQ, and public databases. Contribute to process improvement efforts. Perform high quality in-depth legal, corporate and other research. Monitor and respond to research requests and coordinate this effort with research team members. Prioritize and respond to requests, analyze and synthesize results, compile answers and communicate research findings.
