Requirements:
BA/BS in related discipline or equivalent education and experience. 4-6 years of related experience in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical organization. Solid foundational understanding of drug development, clinical operations, and clinical outsourcing. Ability to prepare/negotiate/track external provider work/change orders. Excellent negotiation skills. Provide a customer service approach to internal team members. Demonstrated understanding of vendor budgets and payment terms. Experience in RFI/RFP development, proposal evaluation, and contract and budget management. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Smartsheet. Must be a self-starter who works with limited supervision. Works effectively in a matrix cross-functional environment. Ability to effectively influence stakeholders. Good business judgment and strong understanding of clinical financials. Ability to interact with a diverse set of clinical team and functions. Fluent in English (verbal and written). Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand and present budget information effectively. High sense of accountability/urgency.
Responsibilities:
Support business aspects of vendor and site agreements. Lead contract negotiations and budget management. Support Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Medical Affairs in vendor oversight. Drive effective vendor selection and contract lifecycle management. Assist in developing structure and processes for Clinical Outsourcing. Drive RFI and RFP document template creation. Lead outsourcing initiatives and process improvement. Negotiate Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets. Participate in vendor governance activities. Manage corporate risk through contract development. Communicate and cultivate internal and external relationships. Negotiate scopes of work, budgets, and payment schedules. Negotiate change orders and ensure vendor adherence to contract terms. Generate RFIs, RFPs, and assist with service provider selection. Execute contract lifecycle management for assigned studies and vendors.
