Requirements:
Experience with administering enterprise systems or platforms Experience with administering business productivity platforms (Slack, Confluence, Zoom, Office 365, Google Workspace) Experience with application integrations, workflow automation, and optimizing user experiences Familiarity with data privacy and security best practices, including GDPR compliance and identity access management (IAM) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Business analysis background with focus on business process management Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy Strong understanding of typical operational workflows Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Results driven, capable of balancing multiple high priorities Ability to multitask, prioritizing multiple assignments Self-directed and capable of working under minimal supervision Familiar with Agile development methodologies Excellent troubleshooting skills Positive approach to problem-solving Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience Experience with scientific research publishing is desirable Experience working with Publication Management Systems (Aries Editorial Manager) or similar submission tracking systems is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain enterprise applications (Slack, Salesforce, Confluence, Zoom, Google Suite, O365) Perform routine maintenance tasks Advise business users on application usage and best practices Facilitate collaboration to translate business requirements into technical specifications Communicate policies, outages, bugs, workarounds, and solutions Provide end-user support and administration Act as a subject matter expert Partner with Technology Services to enhance application integrations Create and maintain technical documentation Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues Maintain and enhance relationships with system vendors Uphold a high standard of customer service Ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies Manage data in accordance with Information Governance policy and legal frameworks Ensure systems and data are secure Monitor and evaluate incoming issues
