Actively identifies opportunities and issues before they surface. Comfort structuring ambiguous areas from first principles. Ability to ask and reframe the right questions to unlock insight. Familiarity with marketplace or B2B metrics; experience in a marketplace environment highly valued. Solid understanding of how operational signals roll up to financial outcomes. Commitment to analytical excellence including documentation and peer-review. Deep interest in AI systems, human-in-the-loop evaluation, or responsible AI (experience valued but not required). Strong experience with modern BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, etc.). Experience with dbt/semantic models highly desirable. Ability to design scalable dashboards, models, and workflows.
