Lead Accounting Advisory

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. 5+ years of work experience required. Insurance industry experience preferred. CPA preferred. Public accounting experience preferred. Experience researching accounting guidance or previous accounting policy experience.

Represent Accounting Advisory on cross-functional teams executing reinsurance transactions. Assist and advise in special projects and complex reinsurance transactions. Evaluate and document GAAP and Statutory accounting for new products and acquisitions. Monitor and disseminate impact of new accounting guidance. Support creation and maintenance of non-investment related accounting policies. Execute assigned controls, including goodwill and intangible asset impairment. Work with audit team to educate and advocate for accounting positions.
