Technical AI Learning Experience Designer (Contract - Portugal)

Created content for an instructor-led program focusing on AI concepts. Background in a client-facing role is highly desirable. Experience collaborating with AI subject matter experts. 3+ years of instructional design or learning experience design with a focus on AI, data science, or emerging technologies. Knowledge of instructional design methodologies (Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, experiential learning). Strong knowledge of AI concepts (machine learning, large language models, neural networks, ethical AI). Thrives working in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Familiarity with Google Suite, and LMS content management and authoring tools. Willingness to flex schedule for meetings in different time zones. Technical proficiency in AI and coding (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI frameworks). Knowledge of GitHub. Familiarity with Virtual Machines (VM). Hands-on experience developing AI training labs, coding exercises, or real-world AI case studies. Experience integrating AI-driven learning personalization into course design.

Define key skills, competencies, learning objectives, and pathways within the discipline. Support sales and product teams in identifying client and learner needs. Design and develop AI-focused learning experiences for varying expertise levels. Create instructor-led training materials (slides, labs, case studies, assessments). Partner with AI SMEs to design practical, interactive exercises. Curate and contextualize existing AI content for relevance. Design structured learning pathways for AI skills development. Work with vendors for content, assessment, and support material production. Develop instructor enablement materials. Provide guidance to instructors on AI education best practices. Tailor learning programs for diverse audiences. Collect, synthesize, and analyze data on learning impact. Work with translation vendors for content localization. Standardize patterns and components for base curricular products. Build out the library of product components, exemplars, and documentation.
