Senior Backend Engineer (Python + Django, LATAM)

6+ years experience as a backend or full-stack engineer building web applications 3+ years experience with Python and Django Experience working in Django at Scale Experience with Django-rest-framework and/or django-ninja Experience utilizing various testing strategies Experience with Asynchronous jobs execution / event brokers (Celery / RabbitMQ / Redis) Experience with Databases - Postgres and NoSQL (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Cassandra) Experience with User data security best practices Experience designing maintainable, scalable backend software components Experience implementing integrations with third-party APIs Experience diagnosing and addressing performance issues Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and resource management Experience with AWS (Preferred), GCP, Azure Experience with HTML and Javascript Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
