Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in family medicine or internal medicine/pediatrics.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
  • 3+ years of clinical practice with demonstrated experience supervising advanced practice providers.
  • Proven ability to excel in high-acuity, high-volume clinical environments with experience in telehealth or virtual care delivery strongly preferred.
  • Experience in eating disorder medical management and evidence-based practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a track history of collaboration with diverse teams and external providers.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical and organizational priorities, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • Clinical maturity to navigate complex cases while maintaining therapeutic relationships and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Comfortable with startup pace and change.
  • Willingness to pursue licensure in all 50 states.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive medical assessments and evidence-based treatment for co-occurring medical conditions due to an eating disorder.
  • Monitor vital signs, labs, and other medical data to ensure medical stability.
  • Collaborate on a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide medical guidelines and treatment.
  • Communicate via electronic medical record messaging and with outside providers.
  • Document effectively and in a timely manner within Equip electronic medical record.
  • Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, continuing education and department meetings.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff and advanced practice providers.
