Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification in family medicine or internal medicine/pediatrics.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
- 3+ years of clinical practice with demonstrated experience supervising advanced practice providers.
- Proven ability to excel in high-acuity, high-volume clinical environments with experience in telehealth or virtual care delivery strongly preferred.
- Experience in eating disorder medical management and evidence-based practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a track history of collaboration with diverse teams and external providers.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical and organizational priorities, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
- Clinical maturity to navigate complex cases while maintaining therapeutic relationships and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Comfortable with startup pace and change.
- Willingness to pursue licensure in all 50 states.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical assessments and evidence-based treatment for co-occurring medical conditions due to an eating disorder.
- Monitor vital signs, labs, and other medical data to ensure medical stability.
- Collaborate on a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide medical guidelines and treatment.
- Communicate via electronic medical record messaging and with outside providers.
- Document effectively and in a timely manner within Equip electronic medical record.
- Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, continuing education and department meetings.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff and advanced practice providers.
