5+ years of experience in data roles Ability to write, review and enhance SQL queries with a strong focus on code performance Advanced expertise in DBT, independently implementing complex features and understanding shared team pipelines Strong version control skills with Git, efficiently analyzing code history and reviewing PRs for quality and performance Strong data storytelling skills: adapt communication to different audiences and clearly articulate recommendations Proactively identify work that should be prioritized based on business needs Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across domains

Own large data domain(s), integrating data requirements into project planning. Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams. Build pipelines and dashboards. Coordinate with other data team members on team projects. Preserve the data warehouse as the source of truth. Design and optimize data models with a strong focus on performance, leveraging advanced DBT features. Develop dashboards that answer critical business questions and support strategic decision-making. Proactively identify trends and opportunities through deep data analysis. Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, offering data-driven recommendations. Autonomously own project planning and participate in cross-functional domain ownership. Mentor team members and contribute to establishing best practices within the data organization.
