Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline. 15+ years of Quality Engineering experience. 2+ years of experience in machining, welding, casting, or coating. Knowledge and experience with implementing APQP, PPAP and Root Cause Analysis. Successfully launched complex components and assemblies into volume production. Experience with mechanical/machined parts and components.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain trusting relationships with assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders. Assess supplier capability via site visits and process audits. Collaboratively qualify processes with Suppliers, Design Engineers, Supplier Quality Team and Incoming Inspection Team. Lead the supplier risk management process within new product development teams. Support the review/approve product and process change control documentation and specifications.
