Requirements:
8+ years of experience in event management, with a focus on large-scale, global events as well as Internal Events including Sales Kickoffs and Sales Clubs. Proven leadership experience, managing teams and cross-functional collaboration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with C-level executives. Demonstrated ability to manage event strategy, execution, and post-event analysis. Experience working closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to align event goals with broader business strategies. Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships effectively. A strategic thinker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues from various departments. Familiarity with Google Suite, Airtable, Swoogo, Slack (desired). Experience managing events across multiple regions and an understanding of global event trends (desired).
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement high-impact event strategies and experiences. Lead and mentor a matrixed team of event professionals. Manage a portfolio of events, ensuring flawless execution. Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams. Oversee event budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships. Drive awareness, customer adoption, demand conversion, and community engagement. Use data and analytics to assess and evolve event programs. Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate best practices. Partner closely with product teams to align event content. Collaborate with sales leaders to integrate pipeline generation. Work with brand leaders to ensure all events align with Twilio’s brand identity. Provide regular reporting on event performance, ROI, and impact.
