Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, RPA development, or systems integration. 3+ years of experience in a leadership or people management role. Hands-on experience with RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Snaplogic, etc). Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns between enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS). Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how they can be applied in internal tools or process automation. Strong understanding of software development practices (SDLC, CI/CD) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Experience with AI/ML integration in business applications (preferred). Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Snaplogic, Airflow) (preferred). Relevant RPA certifications (preferred). AI/ML certifications or related cloud certifications (preferred).
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of automation engineers. Define the team’s roadmap, aligning initiatives with organizational priorities. Define feasible AI use cases that directly align with business KPIs. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of RPA workflows. Evaluate requests for and implement automation opportunities. Manage the integration of core enterprise systems through APIs, middleware, and automation tools. Partner with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure and scalable integration solutions. Participate in the evaluation and integration of AI technologies, features, and functionality. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify use cases for AI-driven features. Act as the primary liaison between automation, IT, and business teams. Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership. Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party tools. Ensure that automation and AI initiatives comply with company security policies, data privacy regulations, and best practices.
