Requirements:
10+ years selling to the life sciences R&D software and data market. 3-5 years in a sales management role (e.g., Regional or District Manager). Experience interfacing with and influencing VPs and above in scientific and IT functions. Experience in leading account executive teams while remaining hands-on with deals. Experience working in startup environments. Experience selling to and leading successful teams in the Top 100 Pharma cohort. Experience selling large and complex enterprise deals ($millions to tens of millions in ARR per deal). Proven ability to create and scale high-performing teams meeting quota consistently. Evidence of driving product marketing efforts to grow business. Evidence of expanding accounts through engagement of broader account teams. Strong leadership skills demonstrated through navigating difficult team periods. Operated effectively in a fast-paced, team environment with a 'win as a team' mentality.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet annual sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand customer base. Position TetraScience as a thought leader by staying updated on industry trends. Work with marketing and product teams on go-to-market strategies. Lead presentations to various audiences, including R&D IT, scientists, and executives. Coordinate cross-functional teams to navigate complex sales cycles. Define and implement account plans to achieve sales objectives. Maintain ongoing customer relationships for satisfaction and retention. Manage sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership. Build and manage a high-performance sales team, setting clear targets and objectives. Coach team members while also inspecting and directing their work.
