Oversees engineering activities supporting information systems Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates systems infrastructure Manages engineering activities of information systems Lead the Systems Engineering staff and activities Provides support to, review, maintain, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems Organizes and leads the systems engineering team Executes and manages risk assessments and develops mitigation strategies Plans the cost, schedule, and execution plan for the projects Develops and reviews technical performance metrics Experience with the planning, management, leadership, and coordination of multiple concurrent tasks for large-scale systems Demonstrated understanding of the software development/enhancement/maintenance lifecycle Experience with data encryption, data storage, retention, etc. Ability to perform complex technical tasks Strong technical understanding of Information Technology systems and services Strong technical understanding of the areas of work and many of the technologies Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services Experience with agile development/scrum Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering
