Data Scientist, Technical Lead (Remote-USA)

Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative, technical, or analytical field. 3+ years of experience managing data scientists. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives. Strong understanding of data science fundamentals. Familiarity with data tooling and workflows (e.g., SQL, Pandas, R, Airflow). Basic software development skills and experience with bash, linux/unix, and git. Experience communicating complex findings to executive and technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with Technical Product Owners to define priorities, scope solutions, and deliver insights. Own investigations of complex production behaviors and design methods for identifying system anomalies. Mentor and manage junior and mid-level data scientists; provide architectural oversight. Serve as a technical authority and set standards for data quality and reproducibility. Lead the design, development, and deployment of analytical pipelines. Champion best practices in data governance, tooling, and collaborative development. Drive team growth by onboarding new Data Scientists and fostering a culture of curiosity.
