Requirements:
3+ years leading a post-sales technical organization 5+ years of experience in the high-tech industry (e.g., TAM Manager, SE Manager, Professional Services Manager, SRE Manager, or Sales Engineer/Architect Manager) Direct technical experience in observability or closely related field Direct experience mentoring, developing people, and managing performance Experience in Open Source or Cloud first/Product lifecycle management is a plus Deep operational expertise in observability, monitoring, and data/visualization products Demonstrated success driving customer adoption and solving complex technical challenges Experience hiring and maintaining teams for customer troubleshooting and RCA Experience forecasting headcount needs First-class written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities:
Build, lead, and coach a team of managers and Observability Architects Guide the team to be a trusted technical partner for customers Drive operational excellence to increase consumption, retention, and expansion Develop and innovate strategic programs for customer success Partner with Engagement Management on customer lifecycle frameworks Plan, execute, and own team outcomes based on leadership guidance Partner with Global Sales leadership on customer programs and events Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts Ensure customer requirements are met by partnering with Product Management and Engineering Own and report on team performance Manage renewals forecasting Educate and enable customers on leveraging the Grafana stack Articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, and create enablement materials
