Requirements:
8+ years of experience in a product company with cross-departmental collaboration. 3+ years of experience as a Director of Engineering or similar role. 3+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer. 2+ years of managing managers. Experience working with and building highly efficient software teams. Experience implementing Agile, DevOps, SWDL. Experience building highly available, scalable, secure backend systems. Experience implementing performance indicators or metrics (DORA, KPI, OKR). Experience working with remote and distributed teams. Full-stack technology knowledge (system design, backend, frontend, databases).
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain efficient team structures. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of Engineering staff. Collaborate with Product, Design, Support, and other departments. Continuously assess and improve Engineering processes and workflows. Elevate and sustain an exceptional engineering culture. Guide teams in software architecture, technology stack decisions, and technical debt management. Assist engineers with resolving issues and technical challenges. Oversee software development and quality assurance processes. Conduct performance reviews and implement career growth plans. Provide technical and leadership mentorship. Oversee the Engineering budget.
