Manager, Software Engineering, (Remote)

5+ years of experience leading and managing development teams. Experience managing an agile engineering team responsible for multiple products. Software Development experience with Go, React, Java, Python, Angular, or JavaScript. Cross-team facilitator experienced in improving inter-team workflows. Knowledgeable about open source software. High level of organization with proven ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on time. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Experience in project management with ability to decompose projects, estimate, and manage risks. Self-directed and able to operate independently. Maturity to build relationships and operate across the organization.

Build and manage a distributed team of developers and testers. Drive software delivery through team velocity, predictability, and accountability. Ensure reliable delivery by managing scope, workload, and resources. Develop people through coaching, mentoring, and management support. Conduct 1:1s, goal-setting, and feedback conversations. Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and owners for transparency and efficiency. Improve processes and efficiencies through technology and automation. Take ownership of team results and implement corrective actions.
