Staff Software Engineer

At least 5 years of software engineering development experience. Proficiency in a web stack language (Typescript/Javascript, Python, C#) with openness to working in Typescript. Experience designing and scaling databases such as Postgres. Experience building infrastructure in a cloud provider like AWS or GCP. A strong product mindset and high user empathy. A high level of autonomy, ownership, and curiosity. A low ego and willingness to admit mistakes and learn from them.

Build software from the ground up and iterate on existing products. Work across the stack: database schemas, HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure, Node.js backend, and React frontends. Design and implement integrations with dental insurance carriers and practice management systems. Collaborate with dental billers and clients to understand challenges and improve workflows. Take on ambiguous problems and shape engineering culture and best practices.
