Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Special Education (or related). 3+ years of K–12 SPED experience (teacher, case manager, interventionist). Proven coaching and professional development facilitation. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Expertise in UDL, RTI/MTSS, SEL, accommodations/modifications, and behavior supports. Data-literate. Proficient with Google Workspace/Zoom and listed edtech tools. State SPED certification and/or Master’s is preferred. Experience with ELL, OASIS, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
Onboard tutors, prepare them for sessions, and review Learning Plans. Coach SPED strategies including Autism, ADHD, ELL, behavior supports, and IEP/504 accommodations. Build SPED resources such as toolkits, sample lessons, and planning templates. Run professional development sessions and coaching, including webinars and feedback. Enable edtech tools like Jamboard and Boom Cards, and manage a Virtual Resource Hub. Provide support for FAQs and troubleshooting. Review lesson plans for standards and IEP alignment and model demo lessons. Use assessments for baseline to mastery and set goals with tutors.
