2+ years in medical records, revenue cycle, or TPL case management. Strong skills in Epic EMR. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with insurance portals and email management. Understanding of HIPAA and PHI privacy standards. Knowledge of medical records processing. Understanding of TPL/subrogation laws. Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows. Detail-oriented with ability to track multiple cases and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to anticipate and resolve claim disputes or records compliance issues.

Identify and track TPL cases from multiple platforms. Prepare, send, and track lien letters. Monitor case status and communicate regarding settlements or denials. Work with attorneys and insurance adjusters for case updates. Maintain documentation and track TPL balances in Epic EMR. Ensure compliance with TPL billing rules. Assist with subrogation claims and reimbursement requests. Process and fulfill medical records requests. Ensure record requests comply with HIPAA and PHI privacy laws. Retrieve, review, and transmit medical records using Epic EMR. Identify relevant patient cases for record processing. Handle subpoenaed records and coordinate legal responses. Maintain logs for timely completion of requests. Respond to inquiries about record requests, fees, and timelines.
