Requirements:
5+ years as a Network Engineer. CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent level of expertise. Strong knowledge of routing protocols, data center networking, and network architecture. Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Firepower series. Proficiency in networking protocols: VXLAN EVPN, Firepower/ASA, BGP, OSPF, MSTP/RSTP, GRE, L2TP, IPSEC, LACP, vPC. Experience with networking in Linux, Hyper-V, VMware environments. Experience with automation using Python and Ansible. Experience with cloud networking integration (AWS, Azure, GCP) with on-prem networks. Experience with monitoring tools: Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, NetBox. Experience with troubleshooting tools: iPerf, tcpdump, Wireshark, mtr, traceroute, nmap. English at least B1 level. Strong problem-solving skills. Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment. High emotional intelligence. Calm under pressure. Commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
Perform greenfield and brownfield network deployments. Configure and install a variety of network devices and services. Configure and support network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG). Perform regular network monitoring to ensure optimal performance. Handle and resolve incidents within defined SLAs. Open and manage service requests with vendors and service providers. Maintain up-to-date network inventory. Automate routine operations to improve efficiency. Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring problems. Provide on-call support for critical network emergencies. Work closely with system administrators, security teams, and other IT staff. Engage with vendors to evaluate new products, technologies, and solutions. Respond within 15 minutes to on-call alerts, assess the situation, and take necessary steps to minimize business impact.
