Lead UCaaS Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field, or 7+ years of experience in enterprise network/telecom management systems. In-depth knowledge of deploying, maintaining, and expanding Cisco Meraki. In-depth knowledge of deploying, maintaining, and expanding Azure vNets and Networking. In-depth knowledge of deploying, maintaining, and expanding MS Teams Voice. Expert knowledge of Network firewalls. Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously. An active Cisco CCNA or CCENT certification is preferred. Proficient with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. Proficient knowledge of telecommunication systems and protocols including H323 and SIP. Familiarity in tier 1 UCaaS solutions, mid-range on-premises phone systems (Toshiba, Panasonic, etc.) SDWAN, Switching and other networking tools. Pragmatic, personable with very clear and efficient communication style and client interaction skills. PMP, Agile, ITIL certifications a plus but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and follow-through, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.

Act as an expert in large-scale networking, proficient with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). Design, plan, implement, and support the corporate network and infrastructure. Manage small to medium-sized projects according to budget and schedule. Serve as lead technical staff in networking projects and activities. Assist with technology planning through research. Plan and implement network security methods, including configuring firewalls. Identify utilization patterns and their effect on operations, raising performance concerns. Document network problems and resolutions. Anticipate network problems and implement preventative measures. Create, update, and maintain all network documentation, including disaster recovery procedures. Configure and maintain corporate Network monitoring systems. Determine technical systems requirements and functionalities for large/complex networking projects. Gather requirements from customers to meet corporate networking needs. Assess and develop high-level design requirements and communicate them. Proficient knowledge of telecommunication systems and protocols (H323, SIP). Design, plan, implement, and maintain corporate telecommunications systems. Serve as lead technical staff in telecommunications projects and activities. Create, update, and maintain all telecommunications documentation, including disaster recovery procedures. Gather requirements from customers to meet corporate telecommunications needs. Familiarity with tier 1 UCaaS solutions, mid-range on-premises phone systems, SDWAN, switching, and other networking tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously. Cisco Meraki and Microsoft Teams Voice implementation and management required.
