Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
- Active CPA license or currently pursuing
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, with a mix of public accounting and consumer industries
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP (especially ASC 606)
- Public company experience, preferably in consumer-packaged goods, retail, or related industry
- Familiarity with Ecommerce, Direct-to-consumer, B2B business models
- Experience with NetSuite
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity working within an internal control (SOX) environment
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong written & verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly activities for revenue and related areas for financial statements
- Substantiate journal entries with supporting documentation
- Perform monthly general ledger closing procedures, including account analysis and reconciliations
- Educate the business on ASC 606 processes and financial impacts
- Conduct ASC 606 contract reviews for accurate revenue recognition
- Partner closely with AR team on order-to-cash process for revenue recognition accuracy
- Support new business initiatives and process changes
- Advise on accounting matters impacting budgets/forecasts
- Identify and implement systems, tools, and process changes
- Assist with external financial audit
- Support SEC and Tax teams for tax provision, external reporting, and new accounting pronouncements
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls (SOX)
- Take on new responsibilities and assist with ad hoc projects
- Participate in weekly team meetings
