Senior Revenue Accountant

5+ years of progressive accounting experience 3+ years of operational accounting experience within a high-growth environment (public or large pre-IPO companies preferred) Background in Big 4 audit or startup environments Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles Exceptional analytical skills and ability to handle large volumes of data Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong teamwork skills Experience with the Order to Cash (O2C) process CPA certification In-depth understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards Experience with NetSuite, including the Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module Experience with Salesforce and understanding of system integrations with revenue recognition Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines Self-starter with a history of implementing process improvements Strong collaboration skills with Finance, Data, Billing Operations, Deal Desk, and Product Teams Solid business acumen to analyze information and assess accounting entries Advanced analytical and data skills, with experience working with large accounting data volumes Quick to adapt to new systems and processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Excitement about using emerging technologies, including AI, for automation

Analyze and interpret complex contracts for revenue recognition treatment (ASC 606) Perform and review daily operational revenue transactions and monthly financial statements Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and KPI analysis Develop, maintain, and document internal controls Develop analyses and reporting surrounding Fetch’s rewards points Partner with Sales, Legal, and GTM teams to review new contracts and determine revenue recognition impact Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for revenue-based accounts Participate in interactions with external auditors related to revenue-based accounts Assist in researching and documenting accounting topics Perform hands-on monthly close processes Collaborate with FP&A for accurate revenue forecasting and reporting Manage commission accruals and calculations Participate in special projects and initiatives
