Senior Accountant (Revenue & Accounting Operations)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred. 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience with SaaS or technology companies. Strong understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606) and GAAP principles. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Intacct, or similar). Excel proficiency. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with subscription billing systems (e.g., NetSuite Suitebilling, SaaSoptics, etc.) is preferred. Background in public accounting or audit experience with technology clients is preferred. Experience in Payment processing industry is preferred.

Own key areas of the month-end close process. Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations. Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Manage accounting for subscription and professional services revenue (ASC 606). Set up customer subscriptions in NetSuite for billing and revenue recognition. Review customer contracts for revenue recognition and billing. Maintain deferred revenue schedules and reconcile contract liabilities. Support annual audit process. Assist in strengthening internal controls and developing accounting policies. Contribute to automation and optimization of accounting workflows. Help implement or enhance ERP and financial systems (NetSuite/Suitebilling). Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
