Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in biological sciences
  • 5 to 8 years of sales experience
  • Experience selling molecular diagnostics in the outpatient physician market is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostic, or medical sales preferred
  • Success calling on Pediatricians, GI, Family Practice, and Primary Care preferred
  • Business to Business sales experience with cold calling for new business preferred
  • Knowledge related to PCR, Infection prevention and control, and antimicrobials is a plus
  • Must have a positive attitude and desire for continuous improvement
  • Manages change well
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and produce sales growth
  • Must be team-oriented
Responsibilities:
  • Develops and executes a territory business plan
  • Sells and promotes the Diatherix Eurofins product line
  • Identifies and develops new client opportunities
  • Educates customers on product value and demonstrates ROI
  • Develops understanding of selling skills, sales forecasting, and budget tracking
  • Works with marketing and sales teams on sales and marketing plans
  • Resolves customer problems promptly
  • Attends required sales training, seminars, and trade shows
