At least 3 years of experience in a game studio Outstanding showreel/portfolio with proven track record of creating production-ready visual effects for characters, environments, and gameplay on shipped AAA or high-quality AA titles Expertise with industry-standard VFX tools such as Houdini, Adobe After Effects, Maya, 3ds Max, Blender Strong experience with particle systems, shaders, fluid dynamics, and procedural effects Proficiency with Unreal Engine and other game engines like Unity, including material and shader setup Solid understanding of real-time rendering techniques and performance optimization for consoles and mobile Experience with scripting or tool development is a plus Strong sense of timing, composition, color, and animation in effects design Excellent communication and teamwork skills
