Senior Technical Content Engineer

4+ years as a software or devops engineer Minimum of 1 year documenting products for a developer audience Demonstrated experience in technical writing domains, including developer documentation, content structuring, communication of complex technical concepts, and narrative storytelling. Deep sense of empathy for developers and understanding of their documentation requirements. Excellent interpersonal, written, editorial, and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience in one or more of the following: Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.

Author, manage, and update documentation materials including online guides, tutorials, and reference docs. Write blog posts or whitepapers offering architectural guidance and analyzing technological viewpoints. Create technical curriculum and content for tutorials and workshops. Improve and maintain Pulumi’s style guide across all developer documentation. Conduct peer reviews for content submitted by other technical authors. Engage with the community to provide help and gather feedback. Define, document, and share infrastructure as code best practices. Create open source, reusable Pulumi components.
