Data Governance and Quality Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow). Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools like Collibra, Alation, or Apache Atlas. Deep understanding of data warehousing, metadata management, and cloud-native services. Knowledge of security and compliance protocols (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).

Design and develop automated data quality frameworks and validation rules. Build and integrate metadata ingestion, lineage tracking, and data classification tools. Enforce RBAC and ABAC through automated IAM configurations. Perform statistical profiling, anomaly detection, and automated outlier identification. Create and maintain governance policies, data dictionaries, and SLA documents.
